Start with 1-2 lbs. of Brussel sprouts.

Clean them up, chopping off a little of the stem, and cutting each sprout in half.

Toss them with olive oil. Salt and pepper them.

Put them on a baking sheet or pan with some parchment paper in the bottom.

Put pan in oven preheated to 425ºF.

Bake for 20 minutes.

They are now ready to eat.

One of the most frustrating corners of the Internet is the corner that has all the recipes stacked haphazardly in it. 

They are super long. They are packed with ads. Extra ads pop up over the regular ads.

On Thanksgiving, I was in charge of making the Brussel sprouts. The simplest of vegetables. All the info should have been a one-pager. Instead, my Brussel sprout reference material was the epic of Gilgamesh.
